Dr. Mike Thaker is a leading podiatrist in the New York City metro region, licensed in New York, New Jersey and Georgia, and providing advanced care and treatment for a wide array of foot- and ankle-related issues. At his offices on Seventh Avenue and West 45th Street, Dr. Thaker uses state-of-the-art techniques and technology to help patients overcome and manage issues like plantar fasciitis, hammertoes, bunions, plantar warts, toenail fungus, heel pain and foot pain. He also provides patients with custom orthotics designed and crafted for each patient's individual foot shape and medical needs. With more than 25 years experience in podiatry, he performs surgical procedures aimed at achieving relief in complex cases and in cases where conservative management techniques are ineffective.
Dr. Thaker earned his bachelor's degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his medical degree at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, followed by a surgical residency at Midwestern Regional Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS).
