Jeff Hetman, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified podiatrist at Foot Specialists of Memorial, PA in Houston. Dr. Hetman pursued a career in podiatry after his own experience with foot problems as a child. His uncle, also a podiatrist, inspired Dr. Hetman to apply for medical school and continue changing people’s lives providing the highest quality foot care.
Passionate about helping patients with the most innovative treatments, Dr. Hetman has trained extensively in the areas of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. He continues his education through numerous fellowships in peripheral nerve surgery and arthroscopic surgery. He is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center, Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, and West Houston Medical Center.
Dr. Hetman completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, and received his M.D. from Temple University of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency through the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in Houston and earned a fellowship at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
An active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Harris County Podiatric Medical Society, Dr. Hetman previously served as vice president of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. He is also the former chief of surgery at Oak Bend Medical Center in Richmond, Texas, and the assistant director of the Harris County Podiatric Residency Program.
Dr. Hetman has been an adjunct faculty instructor of podiatric medicine at Temple University, Barry University, California College, and Ohio College.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Hetman enjoys family time with his wife Rhonda and his two children, Zoe and Jake. To relax, he hits the golf course, plays guitar, coaches youth sports.
