A non-profit community of student filmmakers striving to make quality shorts and low budget, independent films. FRP is committed to helping greener artists gain hands on, real life experience in the film industry. We connect filmmakers/enthusiasts to one another to cultivate careers and build professional reels to help them get hired. Our senior staff works with members to explore their chosen careers in the film industry by exposing them to the realities of filmmaking, such as production meetings, internship opportunities, film technique and equipment training with our personal resources. We train FRP members to become quality interns for local film companies, while growing as a community. To grow our community, we fundraise and submit independent short films to film festivals and publish projects on our YouTube. We provide a platform for new and emerging film artists to build a Cinematic Alliance across South Florida to revitalize our industry as a new “Hollywood” in FL with ethical awareness, particularly focused on Autism in the film industry, and building a safe space among filmmakers/enthusiasts across the state and hopefully the world.
