As of today, we have a 100% client retention record since we launched Formada in 2018.
I think this is because we’ve built our business around asking questions and active listening.
Asking questions, listening, and responding thoughtfully is a foundational part of our operational process.
The only way that we can truly deliver on any of our clients goals is if we understand what those goals look like.
Sometimes we’re not right solution for a problem. Our agency is not the best fit.
Asking questions and thoughtfully listening to how a business owner responds allows us to learn how we can help. If we can’t help, we explain why and refer.
We work with our clients to define goals through asking questing and then really listening to how our clients respond.
Each campaign we create and website we build is custom designed for our client’s unique goals.

You know that feeling when you’re in a group of people and you’re discussing a sensitive topic, and there is this important piece of information that you know everyone is thinking about but nobody is willing to speak up about it?
Maybe it will question the established hierarchy , or go against protocol, or perhaps it will risk setting off an easily angered co-worker who just might make your work life a living hell because you decide to speak up? Sound at all familiar?
When I think back over the times in my life when I‘ve felt the most accomplished, it’s often when I took the risk and just said what I felt needed to be said. Not because I wanted to be right, or to hear myself talk, or because I wanted to be seen in a certain way, but because it was the right thing to do — for everyone. And, if I needed to, I’d just deal with whatever the blowback was and I’d move forward. Without guilt. Without replaying the conversation over and over again in my mind. Because the situation wasn’t about ME, it was about the team achieving something together in the most effective and efficient way possible.
Relatedly, a few years ago, when I was a new business owner, someone that I admire told me that one of the best parts of being in business for yourself is that you’ll start to attract what you put out there — because like attracts like — and suddenly you’ll find that your client relationships will run deeper than you might expect because we’re all looking for those special individuals whom we can share values, business relationships, and true success with.
Well, I’m proud to say that this person was right, and this is exactly what is happening for Formada. It’s incredibly exciting, we’re so grateful for our team and clients and our work, and we can’t thank you all enough. ♥️♥️♥️

Congratulations to our friends and clients at Vessel Commercial Real Estate on the completion of their new brand identity (logo and style guide) and the launch of their all-new website.
Vessel is a brand-new business — a boutique real estate brokerage focused on providing excellent representation to buyers/tenants and sellers/landlords.
The Formada team worked closely with Vessel to create a brand identity with growth in mind, drawing on the fact that a vessel can be interpreted as a ship with a crew intent on going somewhere, which is precisely what Vessel intends to do. Though the Vessel team will initially be licensed in Washington with a focus on Vancouver area, they already have expansion plans in place.
We loved working on this project with the Vessel team and we’re proud to call them a partner. Here’s to their new brand identity and website, and here’s to their success!
We are new to hiring a remote team, but this is how we currently involve our remote employees when we purchase them new hardware. If a team member has strong preference for PC vs. Mac— we’ll do it. 💻⌨️
