Janice says, “I chose this estate piece because in my work I try to reuse and recycle as much as possible. When you’re dealing with precious metals and gems that are in great condition, even if it’s only a portion of the piece, I love to preserve it and make it into something new. This pendant originated as a yellow diamond bezel in a ring, it was just a small portion of the ring. The bezel set white diamond in the pendant is an older cut diamond I resurrected from another piece. I was able to combine these elements into this original new piece of jewelry.”

Janice’s first foray into the world of jewelry began with a class in high school, never thinking it would lay the path for her future career. 27 years later Jan is thrilled to play with pretty things...and get paid for it!

Janice says “One of my favorite things to do, is to take several pieces of jewelry and combine it all into one fabulous piece to be worn daily, especially when we are able to do this with customers sentimental and often heirloom pieces. Making something modern and a truly unique piece of jewelry that they can then pass down is important to me. I feel very lucky that I enjoy what I do and I have a great work family.”
