A blower door test measures how much air filters out of your house (your homeโs โairtightnessโ).
This test is used when energy auditing, normally when the home is completely built. But, because we want to see how the home is performing สแด๊ฐแดสแด we close it up, we do a blower door test at the insulation phase before we install drywall.
That way If we find a leak we can fix it and ensure the home has a proper building envelope.
