Today we celebrate our beloved black dogs while bringing awareness to Black Dog Syndrome, the phenomenon where black dogs (and cats!) are frequently last to be adopted and are euthanized at higher rates than dogs of any other color in shelters. When considering your next pet, take another look at those black dogs in the shelter. We would love to help you take care of them. Share your black dogs with us!
