One of the heaviest snowfalls in recent memory arrives tomorrow...snow will begin before dawn, become heavy by 8AM in Lincoln and 10AM in Omaha, fall at over an inch per hour at times during the day, then taper off after dark and end around midnight.
Great model consistency in location and intensity gives high confidence in snow amounts over 6 inches...with the most likely totals in the 10-15 inch range around Lincoln and 8-13 inches around Omaha. A few local spots in our area should see 15+ inches.

1-3 inches: 0%
3-6 inches: 10%
6-12 inches: 70%
12+ inches: 20%

⚠️ Snowfall Forecast Update ⚠️
Made some changes to the snowfall forecast as models continue to advertise heavy snow across southern Nebraska. Moved our 8" to 12" area further to the north to now include Lincoln, Omaha, and the Tri-Cities. This will be a wet, heavy snow - please make sure you're all stocked up with the supplies you may need! As always, stay tuned for more details and more updates! #NEwx
