This week we celebrate the key role that dental hygienist play in our healthcare system with National Dental Hygienist Week! Their role has dynamically evolved over time to much more than just cleaning teeth. They now assist in identifying underlying health issues such as oral cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, liver dysfunction, and cardiovascular disease. Their clinical skills help reduce chronic inflammation in the body which is linked to a host of systemic conditions.
We want to recognize Tracy, Ashley, and Sarah for the level of excellence they bring to our field and for their dedication to keeping all of us healthy! We love our Dental Hygienists 💜

We had the pleasure of working with and treating Tony in his smile transformation. Tony had a condition called Amelogenesis Imperfecta which is a disorder that causes teeth to be unusually small, discolored, and prone to breakage. Although this was a complicated case, Dr. Pawlowicz has ample experience in full mouth rehabilitation and was confident we could restore not only his teeth, but also improve his occlusion and TMD (temporal mandibular disorder) using Tens and K7 machines. Several appointments were needed to prep the teeth, place temporary crowns, and re-program the bite through electrical neuromuscular stimulation. With these steps you can get a stunning outcome that leaves the patient feeling happy and healthy!
