Dr. Francesco Rotatori, MD is a highly qualified cardiologist serving the New York City and Staten Island communities. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His board certification includes Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Rotatori graduated from the medical school of Università degli Studi di Milano and did postgraduate training in General Cardiology in Milan at the Centro Cardiologico Monzino, a prestigious medical center that focuses on Cardiovascular Disease. He then completed his Cardiovascular Disease training and specialized in Interventional Cardiology at SUNY Downstate, Brooklyn (NY).
Dr. Rotatori is the Associate Director of the Cath Lab at RUMC, and he also performs procedures at Lenox Hill Hospital. In his private practice, he has created a place where cardiac patients experience a personalized cardiac approach to care and treatment. He is very interested in working on lifestyle adjustments that are proactive and comprehensive. He works with a wide variety of patients, from those with known cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure, valvular disease, and atrial fibrillation, to people who have coronary artery disease, have experienced a heart attack, or who simply suffer from hypertension or high cholesterol. His passion for endurance sports makes him very interested in screening for adult athletes and capable of following them during their training. He uses echocardiograms and cardiopulmonary stress testing to determine cardiac fitness and from there, he designs a cardiac program that is customized for his patients.
