If you were hoping to renovate your lawn this Fall, you should have already sprayed your lawn with an herbicide the first time. Two weeks after that initial herbicide treatment, you should spray it again to make sure everything has been killed. August is the month to kill the existing lawn so it can be seeded in September. October is typically too late to seed.
Full summer maintenance on a clients property The shade garden is looking great after my team worked cleaning up after all the spring rains and storm.
The Unilock Copthorne paver driveway is beautiful! The paver is so rich in color! It is really adding some flair to the site and its antique finish fits the setting.
This large putting green will be awesome! Tomorrow we will start installing some SYNLawn green! The client is very excited!
This is our current SYNLawn project. It is a large putting green in a golf course neighborhood. It is about fifty yards off the back of one of the golf course greens,
so our client may end up with some golfers thinking his green is part of the course!

This project is six years in the making but it is worth it to be involved in a renovation of a property from the 1860s! After many design revisions and community reviews we are finally starting the largest part of the hardscape- the driveway. Over 200 cubic yards of 3” road base and dense grade aggregate are finally getting us ready for pavers in the near future!
The Firepit wall has been installed and the tumbled pavers are being laid. I know our client is super-excited to use the space! The patio and Firepit will be done this week and we will begin the boulder walls with steps to access the space from the front yard next week. Stay tuned...
A boulder retaining wall was installed and we were able to excavate into the hillside to create a level space for a patio. We connected the downspouts in the area to empty off the property underground. Now we’re able to install the patio’s gravel base.
This site is very challenging! It has a significant slope into a tight backyard. They are experiencing erosion due to a shaded slope with multiple downspouts emptying directly into the space. Our client said that other contractors had declined the project because it was too difficult for them. Not us though! We will be connecting all of the drainage to empty off-site, installing a blanket of liriope to retain the shaded slope, and installing a boulder-retained patio with a Firepit and access steps with boulders down to the patio. Watch for progress pics!
