Another set of F710’s getting ready to throw down on a Max Effort N/A application! While blowers, nitrous, and turbos offer the ability to create insane levels nobody has ever stumbled upon an amazing N/A combination by accident in the last 20 years. Building an engine that produces 1.6+ TQ/c.i. and carry that to 10,000 RPM takes a whole new level of “attention to detail” and planning that most aren’t fascinated by, however the results are respected by all experienced enthusiasts.
How bout one for the SBE Nitrous guys?! Here’s CB Gilbert standing on the bumper, pedaling, and then pulling around a turbo car. SBE 5.3 w/.092 Jet and Stage 1 243’s!

After dry decking the heads are drilled for a -12AN Fitting and surfaced back over. We do this as a safety precaution in high cylinder pressure applications where the possibility of lifting a head is very real and in such case it doesn’t allow water from the head to find the tires, keeping the car in the drivers control and back to fight for another day.

It's amazing to think just a few years ago the "Devel Sixteen" roared to life and punched out 4,515 hp on the dyno at Steve Morris Engines, maxing it out in the process. A question we often get from customers is “What are some of the differences between the Iceman intake and other intercooled intake manifolds?” Here are some main differences: Our Intercooler Surface Area is larger which helps with heat transfer. Proper Runner Taper & Plenum Volume. 100% 6061 Billet Aluminum Construction ensures the structural integrity of the entire manifold with the ability to interchange runners from all the different LS type cylinder heads + SFI Approved Burst Panels are a standard option.

Good News: Cylinder Heads are being finished and packaged as normal. Bad News: UPS isn’t up and running in our area quite yet. Maybe tomorrow.
WE ARE BACK! While we’re certainly lucky to have both power and water at our shop there were some mechanical casualties. Luckily everything that was down was easy to fix for the most part, but we’re still making sure all of our machines are good to go and we’ll get right back into the swing of things. As far as our FED Family Members everyone has had their power restored, but about half of us don’t have running water. Luckily the shop has a shower! Thank you everyone for your patience through “Snowvid ‘21” and thank you for reaching out to check up on us. Hopefully we don’t have to do this ever again.

While we may not cast our F-Series cylinder heads in Weatherford, Texas we certainly perform every single machining operation here. The foundry in Michigan pours the hot A357 aluminum into the tooling we designed nearly 5 years ago to begin the life of a F-Series Cylinder Head. Once it cools off and ships to us we begin the process of taking a “blob” of aluminum into a cylinder head. While we’ve shipped thousands of F-Series heads around the world this is just the beginning of what is to be offered in the F-Series product line. Our team is still hungry, still dedicated, and still learning. We are pushing the boundaries of what was once thought impossible with the LS Platform and excited to keep going! #ExcellenceThroughEngineering

MS Tuning just wrapped up this wicked ProCharger Superchargers CTS-V Wagon combo and is down in Houston for TX2k this weekend ready to hit the track! It is without a doubt in the Top 5 of coolest customer cars.
