Bill Muir here - taking over today's post to share how just how blessed I am to watch Angie (my wife & owner of the Franklin Bakehouse) experience the beginning of her dream. A dream that has been years and years, a couple hundred cookbooks, tons of research, and a least 50 pounds (for me!), in the making. I wrote a little note and had it posted on our blog in case you want to give it a read.

Today we celebrate Navy Day and honor all those who served in the Navy both past and present!
As you may know, our owners are both graduates of the US Naval Academy. Angie served in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer and Bill served in the Marine Corps as an Artillery Officer. It should come as no surprise that we love those who serve this country. We are so grateful for and proud of the people who serve this country and while we can never thank them enough, please accept our most sincere gratitude for your service. Happy #NavyDay!
