Fred Kusumoto, M.D., is an electrophysiologist and the director of Heart Rhythm Services at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
His clinical practice focuses on heart rhythm disorders including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, bradycardia, and ventricular arrhythmias and the treatments for these disorders including ablation, pacemakers, and defibrillators. Dr. Kusumoto's research interests include evaluation of quality of life and healthcare outcomes with electrophysiology procedures, particularly in the elderly and use of implantable cardiac devices.
