Before and after pictures of a yellow jacket nest removal in a garage in Springfield, Ohio!
It is so hard to believe the way the world changed 19 years ago on September 11th 2001. We mourn the loss of all the lives lost that day and will never forget where we were at that moment as many of you will but what is even more important is don't forget the moment of unity in our nation to have a steadfast resolve to work through this very trying time and apply that same compassion, teamwork and steadfastness to emerge through the current time of confusion and uncertainty stronger than ever before! Today take a moment of silence in honor of all the fellow American lives taken away in such a tragic way!

Do's and Dont's when dealing with yellow jackets.
1. Don't ever seal up the hole before the nest is eliminated and the activity has stopped. Yellow jackets don't like being isolated without an exit and they use one entry / exit hole and if you seal it up before the nest is eliminated it will push them inside with you.
2. Don't waste time with wasp and hornet spray it won't work in most cases.Liquid wasp and hornet spray is very ineffective at wall void nests because the liquid usually runs back out and takes the path of least resistance to the ground.
3. Do move garbage cans away from right beside house.
4. Do contact a state licensed and certified proffessional to handle the situation and offer a warranty on services.
5. Avoid hanging hummingbird nectar feeders near your home because it is like an open can of Coca-Cola at a picnic. Yellow jackets are attracted to sugary, syrupy liquids.
6. Don't swat at them regardless of the urge to do so, yellow jackets can perceive rapid arm movements as a threat and will sting you multiple times which if you are allergic can result in a hospital visit or worse. Yellow jackets do NOT lose their stingers after attacking so they can and will sting multiple times when disturbed.
