Due to ongoing challenges faced by families throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, this year they have received nearly 600 requests: triple the amount of Giving Tree requests they usually receive.
There are three ways that you can help add a little more magic to a child’s holiday season:
1) Grab a request tag from the Giving Tree at either YMCA location. Please register your tag at the Member Services Desk.
2) Help supply “staple” items, like books, LEGOS, Pokémon toys, slime, art supplies, or winter gear for ages 5-12.
3) Contribute a monetary donation to be used for gifts. To donate, reach out to Dee at 701.364.4130 and she would be happy to help!
