About

Our practice is built around the concept of the patient-physician partnership. We believe in providing education to our patients, so that they have options and can make an informed decision about their health. When you come to our office, you can be guaranteed that you will not have a generic experience. Our providers see fewer patients over longer appointment times, which allows them the opportunity to sit and listen to your health concerns and needs, then tailor a solution that is unique to you.

When it comes to pushing out a baby - its not the same for every birth. For some, a strong urge to push comes quickly and suddenly and they find pushing to be intuitive. For others, the urge to push comes more gradually. Some may be relieved to push , while others may become overwhelmed and need additional support.

Did you know that 10% of all breast cancer is from an inherited gene mutation? The good news is that we can test for that mutation. To better understand your risk, take this quiz - if you want further testing, we can help. www.hereditarycancerquiz.com

You can't make your pregnant bladder not force you to get up either.
We recommend that all pregnant women get the flu vaccine. Multiple studies have shown that when the flu vaccination is given during pregnancy it confers immunity to your baby for up to six months after it is born. Flu shots are available at Frisco Womens Health! If you do not have an upcoming appointment and wish to get your annual recommended vaccine, give our office a call to schedule a simple & quick visit with one of our nurses.

As you walk out to your car after your appointment, do you remember all the things you meant to ask...but that totally slipped your mind in the moment?? We want you to be informed about your care and to be a participant in it. So we suggest that you write down your questions (or make notes in your phone) so that at the appointment you don't forget those important questions! Protip: If you are pregnant, we will be seeing a lot of each other. You can choose a few questions to focus on at each appointment.
Cervical cancer is virtually always preventable - yet nearly 13,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year. The United States Congress designated January as Cervical Health Awareness Month. Seems like a good time for you to chat with us about your risk
#tbt Happy birthday Baby Zane! Your parents Alicia and Byrron adored all 7lb and 11oz of you and we thought you were pretty cute too!
We get asked all.the.time. "Can I drink coffee when pregnant??" Studies do show that drinking EIGHT cups of coffee a day may increase your risk of miscarriage - presumably caused by excess caffeine. Are you drinking 8 cups of a coffee or the equivalent in tea or soda each day? If so, cut back...there will be plenty of time to enjoy (need) eight cups of caffeine when your baby arrives.
Mom problems.
When will the baby's cord fall off? After your baby is born, we cut the umbilical cord - leaving a small piece attached. This "stump" will dry and fall off around the time your baby is 5 to 15 days old. You don't have to do anything except keep the area dry and let the stump fall off naturally
Happy New Year!
May the year bring you joy, prosperity, and peace!
Love the red lights to put a focus on cardiac health! Heart health is important to men and women. In February, we join with Medical City Frisco in highlighting heart health. Medical City Frisco February 10 at 9:02 PM · In honor of #HeartMonth, at Medical City Frisco we have lit our lights in red to support and bring awareness to those battling a cardiac disease. #GoRed #CommittedToCare #February
The best doctor for you is the one who listens and views your health care as a conversation. This is what we try to do. We also know that historically, women's health concerns are often downplayed and have not always been given the attention they deserve. We believe that if you have a concern...we should have a conversation
Braxton Hicks got you down?
