Happy Monday! Over the weekend, the Michigan Covid-19 restrictions and orders changed a bit. We are going through the changes so we can adhere. One thing that is GREAT for us-- we can now have groups up to 20! Don't you think it's time to celebrate a little?

Hello Friends
These are hard words to type.
We truly had high hopes that when we secured EIDL funds and multiple grants this past spring that we would be able to ‘ride the wave’ as we weathered through this pandemic. We reduced our staff, reduced hours, cut as many expenses as we could. We worked really hard to be efficient and mindful in creating a clean and safe environment for you and ourselves.
Unfortunately, an integral piece to making this ‘new puzzle’ that is small business work, is that we keep the virus at bay. I so wish that were our reality! Instead, cases and spread are growing.
So, we are going to be shutting our doors for a while. We think it is best to preserve what EIDL funds we have left in hopes something can change with this pandemic so we might have a chance to try again.
Until that day, we have a handful of scheduled birthday parties we will be hosting over the next few weeks as long as MDHHS restrictions allow.

Hello out there. It's been a minute!
We wanted to update you all.
We are not planning to reopen at this time. 25% capacity is simply not sustainable for us and it makes the most financial sense to remain closed as we continue to explore our options for the future.

It's been a whole year of covid. Isn't that surreal?!
And... We've reached the end of the line.
We truly hoped we could weather this, but covid proved too big a chasm to fill. The truth is, when we reopened in July 2020, sales were consistently down by 80%. To be expected, of course. Still, utilities, vendors, banks and rent still need to be paid, even if you're shut down. We're Mom & Pop. Small business. We don't have franchise dollars behind us and our EIDL is gone.
It was a true dream to open Funday's. To be a part of the community, to get to know so many wonderful families... we had so many fun plans!
This is not how we ever expected things to end, and it's been incredibly heartbreaking...but at the same time, we truly believe everything happens for a reason.
So, it's now time for us to focus on our own family, figure out what that reason is and find our new path forward.
Thank you, our friends, for helping make our dream come true! We will never forget our time with you.
