Allan: "I can be fully honest the whole time. I can be myself."
Chris: "We are at the point in class where we are learning how to learn. We are having a meta-class because Allan is truly focused on the work."
Student-Teacher Spotlight: Caryn + David
When asked why they like studying science together:
David- "Caryn has a good understanding of who I am. She has been my science teacher for 4 years and she has seen me become the person that you are right now. When I first came to Fusion, I was a lot of loose strings and I have knitted myself into a more cohesive structure. I also appreciate Caryn because she doesn't shy away from being down to earth."
Caryn- "You come up with these amazing ideas and pictures and I love it. You are willing to work on things even if they are a challenge- in fact- you prefer to work on things when they are challenging."

Student Teacher Spotlight: Gabe and Sandra! Even in the virtual setting, Gabe and Sandra are having a fabulous time in their class. When asked why they like learning together, they said the following:
"I like working with Sandra because she is very compassionate and goes above and beyond. You can tell that she cares. She is willing to talk to kids and give her own examples. We have had really good talks." - Gabe
"I like working with Gabe because he is always bringing unique perspectives. We really get to explore a lot of different view points in everything that we talk about. I appreciate the uniqueness of who Gabe is! There is no one else like him." - Sandra
Teacher- Student Spotlight: Lauren and Sam!
When you walk through the HC, you MIGHT catch Sam and Lauren sitting in different positions while they try out drawing from different angles and perspectives. We cannot wait to see how Sam grows in his artistic ability and the wonderful work that Lauren and Sam create together this year!
