Gabriel Mattei, MD, is an interventional physiatrist with Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (NEOSM). Board eligible in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Mattei specializes in musculoskeletal medicine and interventional pain management. He has a strong interest in neuromodulation and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Mattei completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at Hudson Spine and Pain Medicine. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation through Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He received his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe and his bachelor’s degree in general sciences from the University of Puerto Rico.

When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Mattei enjoys spending time with his family and participating in a variety of sports as well as listening to music, reading and attending the theater. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and is proud to serve the Rockland County community.
