About

Gallatin Women's Center, serving the communities of Gallatin and Lafayette, Tennessee, is a premier women’s health center combining cutting-edge technology and holistic approaches to care for women through all phases of their life.
Dr. William R. Caldwell, MD, FACOG, founded Gallatin Women’s Center in 1986, and now works alongside the highly dedicated team of Dr. Richard Alan Bennett, MD, FACOG, Dr. Eamon A. Felton, MD, and Nurse Practitioners Jessica L. Byrd and Shaye Fitzpatrick. With their combined years of experience and commitment to compassionate healthcare, the team provides quality care that is both professional and personable.
At Gallatin Women’s Center, the doctors understand that every woman’s needs are different and choosing the right birth control method is often challenging. They have expertise in helping women choose the best option for their lifestyle, such as contraceptive pills, Mirena®, Liletta®, Kyleena®, ParaGard® and Skyla® IUDs, and Nexplanon® implants.
For women who want to get pregnant, Gallatin Women’s Center provides preconception counseling and testing to catch any problem early in pregnancy. They also offer infertility evaluation and treatments.
For pregnant women, the practice offers the best prenatal care available. With the latest obstetrics technology and state-of-the-art 4D ultrasound system in the office, the doctors can assure the well-being of mother and baby. Gallatin Women’s Center doctors deliver babies at Sumner Regional Medical Center.
To care for women during the menopausal years, the practice uses MonaLisa Touch® laser therapy, a revolutionary, FDA-approved treatment for vaginal dryness. The minimally invasive laser technology regenerates the vaginal tissue to improve quality of life and restore intimacy.
The practice also offers routine and minimally invasive surgical approaches for uterine polyps, ovarian cysts, fibroids, and endometriosis, as well as NovaSure® for the treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding.
Preventive care is an integral part of gynecological practice and the team at Gallatin Women’s Center offers annual checkups with vaccinations, breast exams, Pap and HPV testing, cancer screening, and genetic testing. With the in-office lab, patients can get the results of bloodwork, urinalysis, cultures, and biopsies quickly.
Gallatin Women’s Center doctors believe patient needs are of utmost importance and strive to provide skilled, personalized, and empathetic care to all women. Call today to schedule a consultation or book your appointment online.
