One of Dr. Christina Bove's first cardiology patients is this cute little one, Barney. He's a 10-year-old Pomeranian with heart valve disease and other health issues.
Like many patients with multiple health problems, Barney is under the care of several specialists at Four Seasons including Dr. Lisa Brownlee in internal medicine and Dr. Jayce Lineberger in surgery.
We appreciate the trust his family has in us and their permission to share his story.

We have been lucky to be Barney's veterinarian for many years and to have the opportunity to work with Four Seasons to keep him happy and healthy. Thank you Four Seasons for your care of this little guy!

Welcome to Gamble Pet Clinic Zeb! This quiet boy came in for his puppy boosters and deworming. We loved giving Zeb some love!
Tucker was having so much fun we almost forgot he was here for his annual exam. He got to play and eat snacks during his visit making everything so much more exciting!
We got the spend the day with Barley today, while he was here for his routine dental treatment. His mom knows how important it is to have regular dental cleanings done, to help keep him as healthy as possible. Having dental disease spreads bacteria from the mouth to other organs in the body and can lead to other health issues.
He does get a little nervous while here is here, so we let him decide where he wants his exams done. Today, he decided he wanted to be examined while cuddling with our assistant, Emily. After dental treatments, we monitor the pets closely while keeping them bundled in warm blankets. He was very cozy all day! In the last pictures, you can see the before and after shots of both sides of the mouth. His teeth cleaned up very nicely today! Mr. Barley is always a joy to have in the clinic.
A special thanks to his owner for allowing us to share his story today!

One of our team members, Adeana, had her cute pup Tonks in to see us to remove a Histiocytoma from her side.
A Histiocytoma is a benign skin tumor. They are a round, hairless, pink-red in color growth on the surface of the skin. They can be irritating and cause your dog to lick or chew at the growth which can lead to a secondary infection. Many times a histiocytoma will regress on its own but if it is not, surgery to remove the mass is typically recommended.
In Tonks' case, her mass regressed so no surgery was needed!
We thank Adeana for letting us share this story.
Ellie is keeping an eye on our pet angels today. If you lost a pet this year and want their angel to take home, please call or email so that we can have them ready for you to pick up.
