Now that we are able to invite families to visit our residents for outside social visits , family pets want to visit too!!!
Yesterday, we also had an outdoor visit that was amazing.A newer resident, who was part of a singing group 8th note, had a few ladies from that group visit and sing for her.... how sweet!

Today we celebrated “National Donut Day” .This is our lovely Irma holding her yummy chocolate glazed donut. Our residents ate Duck Donuts in the morning and Krispy Kreme donuts during Happy Hour.
The winner of our candy corn contest is Darlene Brewer! We had 2025 candy corn in our jar!
Thanksgiving Lunch and letters from our families!
Family and friends wrote letters to their loved one to show how much they love and appreciate them!
We displayed them on their tables or rooms so they could enjoy a delicious meal and a heartfelt letter personalized to them!

Daniel in Activitues has worked hard to get a Pen Pal Program up and running!
He established a partnership with Bellerive Elementary School and their 4th graders! Today lots of letters arrived and were passed out to our residents! This was a big hit and brought many many smiles to their faces!

How to make your own groundhog!
Nutter Butter with marshmallow eyes, almond shaving teeth, and peanut butter inside a chocolate donut to represent a groundhog coming to tell us if we have an early spring or longer winter!
The good news is that we have started the second round of vaccinations in our nursing homes. It is our goal to have all residents and staff protected, by the end of this month, against the Covid-19 virus.
Today the staff wore red for “Wear Red Day” to raise awareness about Heart health and Heart Disease. Go team!
