Gary Garfield, MD, completed his medical school training at New York Medical College in New York City. His residency and cardiology fellowship was completed at Montefiore Hospital in New York City. He served as a Lt. Commander at Beaufort Naval Station Hospital. He started his private practice in cardiology in Coral Springs, Fla. in 1974.
