We are prepared!!!!!!!! See you in June.
We hope you and your family are in good health and we are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. We are currently in the office to schedule appointments for when we resume June 1, 2020. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
We have taken many steps to keep our patients and staff safe by following infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.
Mask MUST be worn when entering the office.
HEPA air purifiers are throughout the office to provide a contaminant free environment.
Only the patient being seen is allowed in the room. Please help create a safe environment and restrain from bringing family and friends.
Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office and we have some throughout the office to use as needed.
Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
Due to the increased personal protective equipment, disinfectants and sanitizing measures, we have been required to implement a $15 additional fee to ALL patients. * If you have dental insurance, your insurance may or may not cover this charge.
Remember, Gentle Touch will be open June 1, 2020 for all dental services. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we've take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at (248) 552-0076.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.

Gentle Touch Family,
We wanted to let you know that we are taking all and extra precautions because of the Coronavirus and our precautions are in compliance with CDC guidelines.
We will be protecting our patients with continuous infection control practices. We are using personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and gowns for better protection for our staff and patients. Our use of disinfectants, up-to-date sterilization practices, dedicated hand washing, and one-time-use disposable materials will helped facilitate safe dental visits for our patients. All of these practices have been the backbone of the CDC’s Standard Precautions.
According to the CDC, symptoms of COVID-19 can include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. These symptoms can appear two to 14 days after exposure. The current transmission of COVID-19 seems to be from ill people to those around them. The apparent spread of the virus is by respiratory droplets produced by sick people when they cough or sneeze. Because of this we are asking that if you feel ill, PLEASE stay home for YOUR protection and ours.
We will continuously monitor and keep updated with ALL situations. Please take measures to keep yourself and your family safe.
Thank you for your continued business and we look forward to servicing you.
