We loved and appreciated these girls before... Then, the world turned upside down as a pandemic changed everything. Now we not only appreciate them, we WORSHIP them.
We’ve never relied on them more to communicate with and educate clients, advocate for our patients, run at the speed of light with 1 often 2 dogs in hand (come rain or 95 degree sunshine), multitask on the computers/lab machines while pausing to take x-rays, fill medications, draw blood, or walk a diabetic for the 4th time that morning. They’re an extension of us who have been paramount to our ability to serve as many of our clients and get in as many of our patients as early as possible.
Our vet techs are the backbone of Georgetown Veterinary Clinic, and they make each day fun and fulfilling. Their compassion, gentleness, knowledge, can-do attitudes, and senses of humor (even on a tough or sad day) are all things to truly admire.
So, thank you to our best girls! We love you, and happy vet tech week!
