The 4th Annual United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County “Day of Caring” is underway! This year, with a substantial number of positive COVID cases in our community, United Way has decided to move forward with (a safer version of) DOC, and host a virtual donation drive instead. United Way reached out to each of their 20 local nonprofit partner agencies (www.uwbmt.org/partners) and compiled a list of tangible items that are current needs. With the pandemic’s impact on local nonprofits, the needs have only grown, so any help we can provide will do a world of good.
If anyone would be interested in helping G&G Enterprises Construction Corp collect supplies for the DOC donation drive, a full list of needed items can be found in the attached graphic. We will be accepting donations at our office (3260 Eastex Fwy, Beaumont 77703) from now through Friday, March 12, and will begin delivering collected items to the United Way office during the week of March 15 – 19. ♥️♥️♥️
