Happy Labor Day to all workers - and a special thank you to the essential workers from healthcare workers to those providing us food.
I want to take this opportunity to thank my essential workers, also known as the Gibbons Optical Staff, for their hard work through the years and their diligence now during COVID-19 to keep the office safe. The hours we are open for business do not reflect the early hours they spend disinfecting and setting up for the patients or the work they take home that they did not have before COVID. Thank you Staff for all you do!

Gibbons Optical updated their business hours.
As we work out the kinks of doing business during a pandemic, our hours will be adjusted and will change occasionally. At this time we are closed Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. It has been great to see people again but we all need time to rest and grieve the things which have happened in our state, country and world. Please take a moment to remember George Floyd, his family and his community- our community.

As we move into the final few days of the Minnesota stay at home order and life begins to take on the now normal next week, we will not be available for curbside service or in office service Friday May 15th - Monday May 18th. We will be back in office for curbside services and staff training on Tuesday and Wednesday next week with more in office services after those days. COVID-19 update
Some of our amazing staff will continue to be available for curbside pick up and emergencies until after the governor’s stay at home order has expired on Monday May 18th.
At that time, we will begin training with our staff on procedures for safely reopening to keep patients, guests and staff protected while they are at the office.
If you are staying home to prevent the spread, if you are working in health care or other essential businesses or wearing a mask to keep others safe, taking care of each other is what we must do to get by. Let’s do our part safely and we will see you soon.

We are taking a fall break so several staff members can take vacations. The office will not be open the new "pandemic hours" of Tuesday October 27th- Friday October 30th. We will be monitoring calls and messages remotely Tuesday- Thursday.
We will be back in office on Tuesday November 3rd.
