Dr. Gillian Ehrlich's approach to patient care seamlessly blends treating acute care issues with complex management of chronic disease. In addition to practicing Primary Care; she is a certified practitioner through the Institute of Functional Medicine and also incorporates Arurvedic teachings into her practice. Patients are invited to be active collaborators in their health and patient education is a focus in every visit. Her practice has been deeply informed by her experiences guiding youth as a wilderness therapy counselor and Outward Bound Instructor; serving as an intern at a domestic violence shelter on a native reservation in South Dakota; and in over a decade of caring for homeless adults in both in-patient and community-based medical shelter settings. Through the culmination of her experiences; she firmly believes we are built for transformation and healing and are able to start that journey in whatever shoes we currently stand.
