Here are a few tips to consider if this request is brought to your district.
· Consult with local and state public health officials.
· Determine reason for the request. If in-home support by a one-to-one aide is permitted by public health officials, consider each request on a case-by-case basis.
· Consider how aide will be supervised.
· Accommodate specific needs of individual staff members.
