We would like to update all patients of Maestri Family Dentistry that we’re adhering to the governor’s newest mandates for the requirement of masks to be worn in our office. Masks can be removed once seated in the exam room to begin your procedure. As a reminder, we are still following all of these protocols for patients entering our office:
• At this time, we are asking all of our team members and patients to stay home if they show signs of cold, flu-like symptoms or respiratory illness.
• All patients will receive a call or text prior to their appt to discuss needs.
• All patients will be seen as scheduled unless notified.
• All patients may reschedule their appointments if they choose to with no cancellation fees applied.
• All surfaces, door handles, computer stations, & reception areas will be sanitized frequently throughout each day.
For patients who choose to attend their appointments, he/she must comply with the following:
• We ask that you come alone to your appointments or have only one other person with you if necessary.
• Arrive on time for appointments to avoid time waiting in our lobby.
• Patients will be asked to pre-rinse using antiseptic mouthwash prior to any treatment.
We do have the right to not accept patients if we notice them not 100% when they arrive at our office. Remember, our #1 concern is the safety of our patients and team members! Thank you for your cooperation. We will continue to update you as more developments arise.

We encourage parents to bring their toddlers with them to their appointment before the child’s first visit of their own to help ease them into the atmosphere better. We’ll have them sit up on mom or dad’s lap and watch as they get their teeth looked at by our team. They can hold an instrument and “help” us do our job so they can get as comfortable as can be for when it’s their turn in a few months.
We recommend making your child’s first dental appointment once they turn 2 years of age! So any time between 18 months - 2 years old is the optimal time to have them tag along with you to your appointment.

Maestri Family Dentistry is looking to hire a full-time Dental Assistant to start immediately! A minimum one year of experience in the dental field is required. Previous experience with Orthodontics is preferred.
Responsibilities for this position will include back of office tasks such as sterilizing instruments, cleaning rooms, seating patients, and also front of office tasks like helping with reception, answering phones, and other administrative-related services. It is true that the dentist's office can give some young children (and some adults) anxiety but we have some tips that may help the first few trips to the dentist with your child go as smoothly as possible.
🦷 Taking a more direct approach with your child about the dentist will most likely result in them having less anxiety. Treat the visit to the dentist like it is a trip to the grocery store.
🦷 Never express your own personal anxieties about dental care to your child. Sometimes we may think it’s helpful to express how we feel about the dentist, but in this case, it may only cause more anxiety.
🦷 Inform your child that everyone with good teeth goes to the dentist.

We are officially in the home stretch! 😁👷🏽♀️ Our renovations are moving along quickly and we could not be happier with the progress! Walls are up & painted, counter and tile is in, and the new lobby area is back open for our patients to wait in! We just have a few more final touches to be made before we are 100%. Maestri Family Dentistry is looking to hire a full-time Dental Assistant to start immediately! A minimum one year of experience in the dental field is required. Previous experience with Orthodontics is preferred.
Responsibilities for this position will include back of office tasks such as sterilizing instruments, cleaning rooms, seating patients, and also front of office tasks like helping with reception, answering phones, and other administrative-related services.
