The atomosphere is decidely old world european with a slight contemporart-urban feel. The interior is combination of the rustic but urban; with tile floors blending with brickwork and polished wood. Very warm and cozy. Located in historic tribeca on 11 Varick St., next to tribeca’s neighborhood regular–Walker’s.
Great place to go for Happy Hour! From 4pm-7pm, if you sit at the bar and order drinks, you get free pizza!! And the pizza is good and made fresh.
I'm not sure how Girello has only 22 reviews but the bartender told me that they've been opened for 5 years. I guess their location is not well known as it...
Free pizza during happy hour if you buy beer. Service is strange and slow but overall it's a good spot if you're in the area. I like the food and the drinks...
