Dr. Giselle Namazie has an ongoing interest in preventative health and patient education. Born in UCLA to two UCLA grads, she is a life-long Bruin. She graduated from UCLA College of Letters and Science in 1990 with a bachelor in psychobiology and from UCLA School of Medicine in 1994 with a medical degree. In 1997, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA and later worked at UCLA in both Santa Monica and the Iris-Cantor UCLA Women's Health offices. As a result, she is familiar with the unique needs of women of all ages and the complex and constantly changing interaction between hormones and a woman's mental and physical health.
Dr. Namazie is married to another Bruin that she met at UCLA School of Medicine and is now raising her two daughters to be future Bruins.
Dr. Namazie is fluent in Spanish.
