Keep Smiling Campaign - Nepal
Through the years GDR volunteers have been the backbone of our clinics - donating their time and talents to provide first time dental care to children in need.
Now GDR volunteers are raising the bar again - donating funds to ensure our food scarcity program can continue to feed 750 families every week in Nepal and Guatemala. Thanks to all of you, we are only 50 families (or $5000) away from reaching our goal!

At Global Dental Relief, it's always been our mission is to provide oral health education and preventive care to people worldwide. Thanks to our partnerships with #KidsInNeedofDentistry, SmileFaith Appalachia and SmileFaith Veteran's Dental Clinic we were able to donate 10,000 toothbrushes to children in need throughout #Colorado, #families at our new clinic in #Kentucky AND #veteransoldiers in #Florida! β€οΈ

Although this year is filled with hope to resume international dental clinics, sadly many of the children we serve continue to suffer from an urgent humanitarian crisis. Due to the pandemic, they do not have enough food to eat.
As a result of this ongoing crisis, we have extended our Food Scarcity Program in Nepal and Guatemala through June 2021. Grateful thanks to all of our volunteers, donors and sponsors who continue to support this program, feeding 750 families every week. We will not forget the kids we are committed to serving.

We are grateful for our local partner in San Martin Jilotepeque, Cristy Velesco, for her diligent work administering GDRβs #foodscarcityprogram. Each week, Cristy buys and packages enough food to feed hundreds of families. Without her, #GDR would not be able to offer the program to the families who need our help.

For many years, Cranberry USA has been a generous supporter of our work. From sponsoring clinics and donating dental supplies to creating a scholarship fund for dental students who attend our international clinics, they have been a true partner in our mission of bringing free dental care to children across the globe.
In 2020, Cranberry not only supported our first domestic clinics, but they also created a #COVIDRelief fund for volunteers affected financially by the pandemic. There are still three scholarships available for those interested in volunteering at our clinics in Jenkins, KY this spring.
