Global Medical Equipment and Supplies has changed hands! We always sought to make your visits upbeat and cheerful knowing no one comes to the local medical equipment store because it’s a fun day out. We worked hard to learn our trade so we could impart knowledge and caring in everything we did. To all our loyal customers we want to offer our true heartfelt thanks for your patronage! We grew steadily over our 9 years because of your support and loyalty. And the story doesn’t end here!
Soon Global Medical Equipment will undergo changes under the guidance of Stewart Edington who is a principal in the new parent company. You will soon see expanded offerings. In the not too distant future a full service pharmacy will be added to existing operations. (Mr. Edington is a pharmacist who was VP of operations for Albertsons 200 + pharmacies). With his professional experience and expertise he brings plans for services that will continue to elevate us and set Global Medical Equipment ahead of all other local competitors. Look for expanded services to include free delivery of prescriptions, medical equipment and the store as well will undergo immediate renovation. From “head to toe” we’ll have a new look! So here we grow! It is truly an exciting time for Global Medical Equipment, our staff and customers! Watch our posts for “late breaking developments “! Thanks Again!!
This Veterans Day was special. We were able to bring two incredible veterans together for dinner Saturday night. One commanded an Attack Cobra Helicopter group in Vietnam the other was an enlisted US Marine veteran who served at a combat outpost in Afghanistan. Tom Taylor earned a Bronze Star and Sgt. Hamlett was vital part of their unit that earned a Presidential Unit Citation. He repaired and armed Attack helicopters so these guys were able to share and talk helicopters. Billy came back a “wounded warrior” having lost the use of one leg and multiple other wounds that have left him suffering with relentless pain. It was an honor to be able to do this for Tom who is fighting a courageous battle with terminal cancer. This Veterans Day was special for all of us (I too am a Vietnam Vet). What an honor to be able to bring these guys together and be of service. Happy Veterans Day! We will never forget.
