Movie actor, restauranteur, Olympic bobsledder, author, and technology entrepreneur — Dan Janjigian had done it all when he joined Family Heritage Life Insurance Company of America (FHL) in 2005. That’s when he discovered a career that was consistently rewarding – both financially and personally.
Once he was fully committed, Dan quickly rose to the top with his FHL Agency, Gridiron Financial, which now has its primary offices in Texas, Washington, and Arizona.
In 2014, Dan’s team was the highest producing team in all of FHL. That was also the year he broke the Company’s weekly sales record. Though his record has since been surpassed, he is proud he recruited and trained the new record-holder, and Gridiron agents have held the #1 sales spot in Family Heritage for 12 of the past 13 years.
Inspiring and training others while building his own business is what Dan finds most rewarding about his career with Family Heritage Life. Add the ability to positively impact the community, and you have all the ingredients for a successful career and a happy life.

Dan’s Agency also contributes to local charities. He is most passionate about the Special Olympics, and each year Gridiron does a large fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics of Central Texas. Gridiron also supports Wigs for Kids and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. To anyone considering a sales or leadership position with FHL, Dan advises, “Be coachable.
