As we wrap up housekeeping appreciation week, we wanted to publicly declare our appreciation for our team!
Never in our wildest dreams did we think we’d be working through a pandemic, but we couldn’t do it without them!
They work incredibly hard every day to keep our guests, each other and their families safe and the hotel and guest rooms clean. Each day they show up with smiles on their faces regardless of the hours they might have put in the day before. They are a team; they support and help each other and we are so very proud of them!

CONGRATULATIONS LEIGHANN, OUR 2020 EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR!
Leighann was promoted to Housekeeping Supervisor within 4 months of being hired. She worked tirelessly through the pandemic, while pregnant, right up to Doctor’s orders for bed rest about a month before giving birth. A few weeks later, Leighann returned with an adorable baby girl and has yet to slow down. Her attention to detail is incredible and she has won numerous in-house games and challenges; exercises that our housekeeping staff maintain to ensure top notch cleanliness in all of our rooms. Leighann also won Employee of the Month in October 2020 as recognized by the Management team of Gold Miners Inn. Leighann celebrated her one year anniversary in November and we are proud to announce that she has been chosen as Employee of the Year, as voted by the staff of Gold Miners Inn. Congratulations, Leighann, we are so proud to have you on our team!
