About

I am an infertility doctor who believes in a full and compressive fertility care. I have a great deal of successful experience in complicated infertility cases and reproductive surgery. My prior experience as a General Surgeon provides me with the additional capability and expertise to preserve the reproductive organs to accomplish a pregnancy and treat symptomatic conditions that can impair the quality of life without having to have a hysterectomy. Due to my own history of infertility issues, I understand the emotional struggles involved and to be emotionally supportive to my patients is my priority.
I love helping people to accomplish their dreams of having a family. I try to offer as a doctor, what I would like to have as a patient. I believe in compassion and empathy. I love my profession and helping people any way I can.
I am originally from Argentina where I became a doctor, then a general surgeon and later on a colorectal surgeon. In 2001 frustrated with the socioeconomic situation in Argentina I moved to USA. It took me 4 years to learn English and validate my medical degree in USA. At the time of choosing a residency in USA, I opted for women’s care. I did my residency in OGBYN at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha Nebraska. There I fell in love with infertility and minimally invasive gynecological surgery and I joined the team of Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine. There I received excellent training in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology. In 2011 due to my love to the outdoors and my passion for cycling I decided to move to Phoenix, AZ, where after few years I started my own practice, Gondra Center for Reproductive Care and Advanced Gynecology.

There are many things that bother me about Covid!!! Within many others, I can not shake my patients hands or hug them, husband's are left out lots, I can not see my patients faces, but the worst !!!! The babies are not coming to visit anymore 😢. I can not wait for this thing to be over!!!!!!

Hi!! COVID UPDATE: I just wanted to share our recent findings with everyone. Everybody at the G.C. got tested for IgG antibodies (to see who has been exposed to COVID). The entire staff is negative, meaning that none of us has been exposed to the virus. I have the feeling that AZ has not seen much of it yet. Hopefully it will bypass us! Regardless, keep taking care of yourself and others which includes social distancing, wearing masks and washing your hands often. Stay safe!!! Dr. Gondra and the G.C. Team

So why the hesitance to get the Covid vaccine?? 🤔 I have not yet heard any reasonable reason no to take it. These are my points: 1. The question is not, would I get COVID? It is: WHEN am I getting it??? 1/13 Americans have been diagnosed with it + 400k died from it. In my book you either get the vaccine or you get COVID..... 2. The available vaccines are new technology, soo????? I got both my shots and so far I have not grown a third eye 🤪. New does not mean bad, being sick is bad!!! 3. " The vaccine has not been around long enough to be able to find problems with it" Well.... COVID has been around long enough to show how terrible it can be, not only for the fatal cases but also the Long Howler cases, many people still feel very poorly months after having COVID 4. " the vaccine has NOT been proven to be safe for pregnancy" well.... Covid HAS proven to be unsafe on pregnancy, sadly some moms have died around delivery without even been able to see their babies 🥺🥺🥺😢😢😢 5. The American Association of Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetric and Gynecology recommend pregnant women at risk (Pretty much every body) to get vaccinated, since there are not scientific or logical reasons to be afraid of it!!!! 7. Why to be scared of the unknown is safer that to be scared of the known??? 8. If you don't care about your self, please care about those who are at higher risk, some can not get vaccinated for one reason or another and Herd immunity will be the only way to protect them... Just my point of view!!!

What an amazing day!! 2 of my very favorites patients/family came to say hi!!! One after achieving a Bachelors degree in Nursing with a 5 and 3 y old gorgeous kids I helped a little bit with 😬 and the other one to shear with me her most recent miracle, which I can not take credit for!!!
