We are fairly unique in that we are one of the only companies in Chicago with storage and 'holdover' capabilities for those individuals who cannot move in the same day they moved out.
In addition, we never overbook, so we will always be there on move day (yes, some companies no show, even if they send you a confirmation). Our on-time record is spectacular. We won't book a job if aren't certain we can meet the times.

Summary
I founded Good Move Movers, Inc., a full service moving and storage company which specializes in residential relocation. I have 19 years in the moving and storage industry, and can therefore provide expert, accurate consulting on any of your moving needs. We provide packing, crating, storage and, of course, moving. Our employees are friendly, trustworthy, and are taught to have a strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Our goal is to move your goods safely at a competitive cost, but also to experience as little stress as possible on moving day, as well as the days which precede it. I've found that strong communication is the key to this.
Company culture is the driving force behind my company. I've always felt that company culture was and is lacking in this industry. I am a big believer in company culture and I feel it comes from the top down. By creating a positive work environment, it translates into better results.

Good information and strong communication is paramount to a successful move. I have been in the moving business for 20 years with the biggest names in the industry. After they have spoken to a competitor, I marvel at the lack of detail that company has given them about their move. Details that will balloon their pricing and blood pressure. There are people with my experience in this business, but those individuals won't spend the time with you, in general. I will.
