We were so lucky to have a great group from Holy Family Catholic School - Decatur and Holy Family Catholic Church-Decatur last week. We love when young volunteers come - it was a beautiful day to get some outside work done in our gardens!

Today our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Steve Terry, our beloved coworker and friend. Anyone who has been to The Good Samaritan Inn in the past 10 years knows and loves Steve. Interested in helping us provide not only a hot meal inside but also a meal to-go? Here are some ideas for items we can utilize in our sack lunches, which we recently committed to providing 7 days a week. UPDATED WITH DONATION INFO: The best time to drop items off is Mon-Fri 8am-10am. However, we are open 7am-3pm if that doesn’t work. The weekends we are shorter-staffed, but you can drop off things between 10am-1pm if it’s not possible to do so Mon-Fri. We are located at 920 N Union St. Decatur, IL 62522. Go through the back door next to the loading dock opening, walk through the dock, and ring the bell. Thanks again, everyone!
