I would like to address the biggest problem Happening around the area right now...
PROBLEM:
“I CANT FIND A CONTRACTOR TO COME OUT TO MY HOME & NO ONE WANTS TO SHOW UP!”
SOLUTION (my opinion):
What I can tell you guys is this being totally honest about it! Because this process is so tough with getting money from insurance , waiting on funds , timing of it all, being required to send in estimates for monies and then waiting for that to come in, etc ..... it’s COMPLICATED I know!
So I’m going to say this , Asking for a TURN KEY Contractor right now is causing YOU a MAJOR delay in getting any answers or estimates , and it’s DIFFICULT because not all laborers and workers are available for ALL of the work and Contractors have to move the best way they can and that’s in PHASES!!! This is the reality of A LOT OF PEOPLE right now but not all situations are the same and some
Are doing ok!
🔥POINT again, The absolute best way to work on this entire process of Rebuilding is in PHASES. 🔥
Get your roofing done first ! As a friendly honest contractor I can’t stress it enough that making request in phases will help you move forward way faster then asking for turn key guys to come out ...
If you get an estimate to do roof and turn it in then your roofer can get it done and get paid on to the next phase.
If you have framing damage work , gut out work, etc it will all work the same way.
ASK FOR IT IN PHASES NOT TOTAL JOB AT ONCE.... it’s what helps me help others everyday and start making progress moving forward...
I know this is all new for all of us but let’s try and figure a way for it to work as a whole and move forward instead of sitting and waiting on a TURNKEY GUY!
Trust me you will move forward way faster .....
If we can focus on these first 5 phases then we can make some PROGRESS much faster for everyone y’all!
Phases :
1- Debris clean up
2- Structural damage repairs to roof ,
3- INSTALL NEW roof (tarp, new roof, small roofing repairs )
4- exterior vinyl /hardie repairs , exterior painting
5- Interior restoration/ Drwyall removal
