We recently discovered some of our broken and stored appliances being sold as good machines on facebook and craigslist.
Someone has been coming into our storage yard. Taking photos of appliances and then scamming people of Facebook.
Please be careful out there. Don't be taken in by some low life that has time enough to sneak around and steal your money and not be out looking for honest work.
WANTED:
We need old style direct drive washers for our customers.
many of you have figured out that the new machines on the market are designed to only last 5 to 8 years. And that they all have problems that are costly repairs.
That being said, our customers are coming back to the direct drive system they know and love. But there is now a shortage of said machines due to government incentives to dispose of them.
If you have older machines, specifically washing machines, hanging about could you please bring them to Gordies Appliance at 312 S 3rd Ave., Yakima, WA Call ahead so we can make sure someone is here to unload you. 509-575-8354

There has been some concern about our shop kitty Finn. We would like to share with you about Finn and his history.
Finn was born in the back of our shop last winter. His mother was feral. Finn was 1 of 3 born. He had eye infection, upper respiratory infection and poor weight. His brothers weren't much better.
Finn was drawn to people where his brothers feared us.
Once mom was done milk feeding them we brought Finn inside and immediately gotten him to the vet.
Treatment was done and Finn made a slow recovery. Unfortunately, only one of his brothers survived.
After Finn got better he was fixed and fully vaccinated. We asked the vet about the possibility of being feral and was told that he was young and will settle down. That being said, Finn Does have an attitude. He plays with guys with work worn hands. He has learned to play rough with them. We warn everyone that he might get rough. Any Kitten will. But Finn has never intentionally hurt anyone.
