The South Shore YMCA is actively looking for volunteers to “adopt” local families this holiday season. This year more than ever, many families will struggle to put Christmas gifts under the tree for their kiddos. If you are in a position to help, e-mail Kathy Quigley at kquigley@ssymca.org and she will assign a family to you.
The Gordon Atlantic staff is looking forward to participating in this great program!

Here's how we are communicating stress / comfort levels with pandemic protocols now that we're more back in the office. So far so good.

For more effective office communication on social comfort levels in this pandemic, wrist bands: Red means don't get near me, I'm uncomfortable with any close contact; Yellow means I'm being quite cautious, please keep your distance, but face-to-face collaboration is important too. Green means if we follow standard protocols of masking and distancing, I'm OK with going about my life and work normally. It's a good way to show respect, to know, without overstepping bounds.
