As we start a new week, we have made a decision at Gosse’s to close the inside of our restaurant. This was not an easy decision to make, but one we feel is right. In looking after the well being of our employees and guests, we feel that inviting the public inside right now is not conducive to our policies on safety. The pandemic has come too close for comfort and we made this decision not because our staff is sickly, but rather to be proactive and prevent such a situation. We will continue to operate our normal business hours, 11am-7pm Tuesday-Saturday, and offer our full menu. We will focus solely on Curbside Pickup as we feel it is better to serve you in a limited capacity, rather than not serve at all. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE wear a mask as you pickup your order, this is for the safety of all and will help us return to normal operation. As always, if you don’t feel well, DO NOT place an order; if someone in your household has tested positive, please follow the health department’s guidelines on quarantining with that person. Have to give a shout-out to Amy Spaeth today. I don’t think she is a friend of the page, so if you know her, please tell her that we found this yesterday and are so grateful. It warms our hearts to see the appreciation our guests have for us. The support of the community around us is what keeps small businesses like this going. Her two kids were so polite when the said goodbye and had such a big smile on their faces, I had no idea they had never been introduced to Gosse’s before, and hope those smiles only grew.
