Happy Thursday! Can anyone guess what year this corvette is?
How about this classic Chevy truck?! Joe used to have a 1983 GMC Sierra just like this.
We are going to do features on fastback muscle cars for the next month or so. The first fastback to feature is a 1967 AMC Marlin. This car has a lot of resemblance to the 66-67 Dodge Charger. Dubbed as a personal luxury car, this was originally called the Rambler Marlin. Manufactured from 1965-67, the Marlin had an option for the new 343 typhoon v8 motor featured by AMC in 1967. Not a very popular fast back, but wow would it be cool to see one of these heading down the road today. Everyone have a great week!
Happy thanksgiving everyone! We hope you have a great and safe holiday!
Good morning everyone! Today we are featuring a 1966-67 Dodge Charger! Another member of the fastback group. You could get a 318 all the way up to a 426 as a power plant. There is a uncanny resemblance to the AMC Marlin we featured a few weeks ago. Great looking car!
Fastback feature this Wednesday is a 1968 Mercury Monterey. You could get a 390, 410, 427, or 428 to power this good looking car. How about that green? Looks pretty sharp!
Happy Monday everyone! This was pretty funny! ASE Certifications Yesterday at 2:25 PM · #asememes #mememonday
Merry Christmas everyone! Have a great day!
Happy Wednesday everyone! Fun fact of the day; in 1942, Henry Ford was granted a patent for the manufacturing of a plastic car. This was also known as a “soybean” or “hemp” car.
Happy Friday everyone! We hope you are having a happy new year. Thank you for your business and for bringing your vehicles to us. We're always happy to serve you and help out when we can. Let's have a great 2021!
Happy Monday everyone! Here’s a neat post from the Shelby American collection on Facebook. Shelby American Collection Yesterday at 6:04 PM · The 1965 GT/108, the first of five GT40 Roadsters built. Driven by Carroll Shelby, Ken Miles and Jimmy Clark. On display in the Shelby American Collection and on loan from the Miller Family Automobile Foundation.
Happy Friday everyone. On this day in 1954, Kaiser motors released their updated “Manhattan”. It was a big deal at the time since they had just merged with Willys-Overland in 1953.
Happy Monday everyone! How has everyone been doing with this weather? Be sure to keep an eye on your tire pressure and gas tanks. Joe’s winter tip is to not let your gas tank go below 1/4 of a tank.
Here is some pictures of Joe's truck and the progress he has made. It is a 1954 Ford F100 pickup updated with modern suspension, drivetrain, and Ford motor. Funny fact about this truck, when he bought it 40 years ago it came with a Pontiace 389 motor and a GM Muncie truck transmission. Clearly not the original motor!
On this day in 1910, Barney Oldfield set a world speed record of 131.7 mph. He set the record driving his "Blitzen Benz" at Daytona. Attached is a informational link about Barney. https://ohiohistorycentral.org/w/Barney_Oldfield OHIOHISTORYCENTRAL.ORG Barney Oldfield - Ohio History Central
Happy Saturday! Did anyone have a favorite racing legend from back in the day? Shelby American Collection March 19 at 3:33 PM · Carroll Shelby - an incredible driver, a brilliant entrepreneur, and an inspiration to us all. Photo by Dave Friedman.
