Our Founder Jason Ganahl has a background in Competitive BBQ. When he moved to Colorado in 2007 he sought smoked meats that reminded him of his home in Missouri and started judging professional BBQ contests, after judging for a couple of years Jason began competing and then winning. Jason has won several KCBS Grand and Reserve Grand Championships, 180’s & 700’s. Claiming stake to RMBBQA team of the year, winning the US’s 3rd largest contest and being inducted into the RMBBQA Hall of Fame.
