Alice Amah Ajim, MD, is a leading internist, geriatrician, and primary care specialist, serving patients from in and around Houston at both the Downtown and Southeast locations of Grace Medical. Dr. Ajim takes an integrative approach to health care, considering her patients’ overall wellness goals. She works with them to implement treatment plans that heal their body instead of just focusing on their symptoms.
Dr. Ajim earned her medical degree by completing a competitive pre-medical and medical program at the University of Lagos in Nigeria. She continued her training by serving her internal medicine internship and residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, which is affiliated with the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Ajim also completed rigorous fellowship training in geriatrics at the New York Medical College and Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, in the Bronx.
Dr. Ajim is committed to helping her patients lead healthy, active, and fulfilling lives. She offers a wide range of health services including geriatric consultations, women’s health, preventive services and screenings, and general consultations.
Outside of work, Dr. Ajim enjoys swimming, tennis, and reading. She’s also active in her church and community.
