We received over 100 letters and colored pictures from Meadowlark and Longfellow Elementary students this week thanking our healthcare workers. ⭐️We are excited to announce that we will be holding ANOTHER ROUND of COVID-19 vaccinations, with appointment sign-ups opening next Thursday, Jan. 28. ⭐️ The appointments will be for Monday, Feb. 1, Wednesday, Feb. 3, and Friday, Feb. 5. To sign up, visit Benefis.org/COVIDvaccine beginning at 9 a.m. Jan. 28.
We know many people were disappointed they weren't able to secure a COVID-19 vaccination appointment this morning. Please know we are working to provide vaccines as they allocated from the state. We ask you to be patient as supply is limited and enthusiasm is high. We're inspired by the number of people wanting the vaccine, which is a crucial step in overcoming the pandemic.
One of our recent employee suggestions was to put together a volunteer cleanup crew for our campuses, so this week we made it happen! Our administrative team volunteered this quarter to pick up garbage around the Hospital, Specialty Center, Surgery Center and Main. The weather was warm but very windy, so it made for an interesting experience! Thank you volunteers! #gfclinic #putyourgarbageinthegarbage #please

Samantha Shinaberger, professional relations manager for Great Falls Clinic, said the mass-vaccination effort could expand to immunize more people, but the operation is stifled by a limited supply.
"It's all about patience," she said. "We know people are frustrated. But please be patient, be kind and be nice to health care workers. We're all stressed."

Cascade County residents get COVID-19 vaccine, more appointments available Thursday
Cascade City-County Health Department
January 27 at 8:21 PM ·
CCHD, Benefis Health System, Alluvion Health, and Great Falls Clinic are happy to report that as of 9 a.m. tomorrow (Thurs 1/28) we are opening a phone line that people can call in order to be placed on the COVID-19 Vaccination List for Cascade County. Each time vaccination appointment slots open up (as they will tomorrow on the online portal), a certain number of slots will be reserved for people who are at the top of the phone list.
This will be a voicemail-only phone line due to limited staffing. When you have reached the top of the list we will call you to book your appointment. If you do not receive a call you will remain on the list for subsequent weeks.
Callers must leave their name, date of birth, address, and phone number in order to be placed on the list. The list is only open to people 70+ at this time.
Be aware that a higher proportion of slots are available for online scheduling. Individuals have a greater chance of getting an appointment if they use the online portal at www.benefis.org/covidvaccine. The phone slots are intended for people who do not have email or who have limited internet access.
