While we are saddened at the passing of one of the most influential voices on the United States Supreme Court. This November election now has more at stake. We can’t fall asleep at the wheel and sit this one out. My friend and sister Justice Ruth Ginsburg fought the good fight of faith to the end, through her cancer, with unwavering faith in God. It is with immeasurable grief and devastation that I salute my friend and brother Chadwick Boseman. @chadwickboseman was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in early 2016, and through prayer and hard work he battled this as it continued to progress to stage IV. My friend was a true fighter, I was blessed to pray with him on a daily basis knowing that God’s will must be done. He was aware and prepared that this day would come. He passed in his home surrounded by his wife and family by his side. Let us continue to pray for my friend’s family, he would like for you to pray for them. This is a hard and difficult time for each of us and I ask that you would respect their privacy during this time. He was a true gentleman with a big heart. Greater Bibleway Church International, New Faith Church and Greater Bibleway Housing and Community Development Corp. has deployed our Rapid Response Teams to stage outside of areas that will be affected by Hurricane Laura, we will provide emotional and spiritual care to those affected by man-made or natural disasters during and after this event. We will continue to train more volunteers on how to affectively meet the emotional and spiritual needs of those suffering. Please continue to pray specifically and regularly for the Rapid Response Teams.
