The Swamp Monsters are going to be out at the ZOO BOO (that's us if you didn't know).
The Zoo Boo will be held 4 weekends in October starting with the weekend of the 9th, held on Friday & Saturday evenings from 3-8PM.
Again we will need some volunteers to be the "Swamp Monster" in the penguin exhibit. One diver will be in the 6' deep pool looking out of the glass windows, the other (non-diver) will be in the 3' shallow end walking back and forth.

It looks like the bay will be open so lets have a good showing of divers this year.

I have a lady who needs her creek photographed or videoed due to erosion issues.
She said there may be a 1 knot current, maybe a little murky, 5 feet deep but she said she can see the rocks and things on the bottom.
She tried it in waders and couldn’t quite get it done. You’ll need UW lights to get what she needs.
She needs it done before it ices over for the engineers and DNR.
She said it may be a 45 minute job.

I went Inside the Eber Ward shipwreck that sank on april 20th 1909 after hitting a chunk of ice taking five of her crew down with her. Watch this in HD by using the gear icon to change to HD. We where greeted by burbot fish the entire time inside the shipwreck. She sits silently on the bottom of the Straits of Mackinac. I entered the stern area and made my way to the bow 213' from one end to the other in 147' deep of freezing 34F cold water.
